The museum staff have planned a relaxing and enjoyable evening for you: enjoy a couple of drinks on us and learn a few techniques of sumi-e painting while enjoying the artwork of Marc Katano in the Art Museum. Kathleen Youngquist will be your guide to holding the brush for different line weights, dipping into the ink, guaging amounts of water for washes, and exploring the expressiveness of the bamboo brush. Art supplies and two beverages are provided.
